Ready to consign?

  • 1.

NO APPOINTMENT NEEDED. If you are a new consigner, you are required to fill in a Consignment Contract when you drop-off the first time. You will also need to fill out a Consignor Drop Off form every time you come in and drop off new items.

  • 2.

Drop off one bag during our business hours, unless otherwise stated. We do not accept clothing on hangers or in bins/bags that you want back. We will then confirm if your items can be donated or if you’d like to come back and collect the items we do not accept to put on the sales floor.

Consignors receive 40% of the selling price of their items and the credit can be used on anything in store at any time. There will be no payout option (in-store credit only). You may drop new things off once a month (max 25 items at every drop off).

  • 3.

Your bag must be clearly labelled with your NAME, PHONE NUMBER, & EMAIL. We will not be sorting through your items when you bring them in. We will be selecting items that fit with our store brand and that sell well. ALL items must be laundered and free of stains/holes.

  • 4.

When you drop off, you will decide whether you want to pick up your items or if you are comfortable with us donating them to one of our donation partners.

If you choose to pick up what is not selected for the sales floor, you must come back to collect your items. One email will be sent and you will be given a specific date to pick up your items by. They will be automatically donated to one of our donation partners if the consignor does not pick up their items by said date. You will not receive a reminder. It is the consignor’s responsibility to check in and see if they have items to collect.

If you choose donate at the time of drop off - unselected items will be donated to one of our donation partners.

You can download an app to track your items and see what money is available on your account. Ask a Coastal associate if you need help with the app.

At the end of the 12 week consignment period, if there are any items that did not sell: The consignor will be notified by email if they have any remaining items and will be given a date to pick up their items. Consignor’s must pick up unsold items by this date or again, they will be donated to one of our donation partners. We will not be sending out reminders, as it is the consignors responsibility to pick up their items in a timely manner.

Your clothing will remain on the sales floor up to 12 weeks (or end of season - whichever comes first). Coastal reserves the right to remove items from the floor at any time due to defect, problem not detected upon intake, or make room for more seasonal items. Items will be at full price for 8 weeks, then reduced by 25% for 2 weeks, and some items may be reduced to 50% in the final 2 weeks. During the last month items may be taken off the sales floor at any time due to space, lack of interest, seasonal change, etc.
